House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi is not exactly what you’d call “well liked” by the GOP and for good reason. After all, she’s partially responsible for Obamacare and a whole host of other nasty policies that have negatively impacted Americans over the last decade.

But just how unpopular is Pelosi? Well, let’s put it this way. If Republicans had to choose between hanging out with Nancy for a day or having lunch with North Korean dictator Kim Jong Un, they’d pick the latter over the former.

A new poll released indicates Kim Jong Un is actually more popular with Republicans than Pelosi is.

Ouch.

Around a thousand people participated in the poll, which found that around 19 percent of self-identified Republicans had a favorable view of the North Korean leader who met with President Donald Trump last week, while nearly 70 percent said they had an “unfavorable” view.

The results aren’t necessarily notable – there are always people whose opinions are dictated by their love of President Trump, party bias, or simply a lack of information about Kim Jong Un’s atrocities – but at least one Democrat, Rep. Nancy Pelosi might want to take a memo.

Among Republicans, Pelosi had a 17 percent approval rating, two points lower than that of Kim Jong Un.

That’s not a great look for Republicans, of course, though nearly anyone or anything, including cockroaches, head lice, Nickelback, colonoscopies and Brussels sprouts can get 10 percent favorability (and all frequently poll better than Congress, as a whole).

Politics, researchers and interpreters could conclude from the study, is now largely driven by how you perceive President Donald Trump. If you like Trump, or tolerate him, you’re more likely to view world leaders who cooperate with him favorably, even if those world leaders are maniacal and murderous.

Of course, this isn’t exactly a good look for Republicans either, given the fact Kim Jong Un is a psychopathic murderer who has slaughtered untold numbers of innocent human beings, all in the name of power and wealth.

Still, it’s hard to argue with how unpleasant Pelosi is too, so it’s totally understandable why people dislike her.

That’s definitely going to leave a bruise on her self-esteem.
