VP Harris Ducks And Dodges Hard Question About Minors At The Border

Vice President Kamala Harris ducked, dodged, and parried a serious question concerning the current administration’s handling of the surge in illegal immigrant minors at the southern border.

“I haven’t been briefed on anything today about it, but I will when I get on the plane,” Harris told the press in Denver on Tuesday.

The vice president, who notoriously shredded the Trump administration over their detention policies involving unaccompanied minors, decided to skip speaking with reporters for the rest of the day.

The number of illegal immigrants crossing the southern border rose to more than 100,000 in February in the first full month of the new administration, according to Customs and Border Protection. This marked a 28% increase over the numbers in January. Of those, 19,246 individuals were in family units, 9,457 were unaccompanied children (UACs) and 71,598 were single adults.

Due to the surge, the administration has opened or reopened several facilities in border states in an attempt to deal with the situation, and reached a deal to house immigrant teenagers in a Dallas convention center, the Department of Health and Human Services told The Epoch Times.

Immigration lawyers told NBC News that some migrant families are sending their children alone to the southern border because they view it as the best chance for being allowed to stay in the United States.

You know, Harris and Psaki are really good at not answering questions and then completely flaking out on ever returning to those points and providing clarifying information. It’s almost like they don’t want to talk about this stuff with anyone.

Gee, could it be because the administration has already been exposed as a seething pit of hypocrites? If I had to put money on it, that’s what I’d bet.
