TRUTH Social App Tops Download List After ‘Massive Demand’ Creates A Lengthy Waitlist

Former President Donald Trump has now officially launched his new social media app, TRUTH Social, Monday, and it is at the top of the download charts and has creative a very long waitinglist.

As of Tuesday morning, 1.5 billion people looked at the app via iPhone App Store, with almost 400,000 folks getting notices alerting them that they had been placed on a waiting list as they attempted to sign up for the app and service.

“Due to massive demand, we have placed you on our waitlist,” TRUTH Social’s notification went on to say. “We love you, and you’re not just another number to us.”

The new app sits atop Apple’s download chart with 170,000 downloads in its first day, according to AppTopia, a site that tracks app ecology.

TRUTH Social is currently only available on Apple devices.

The Day One downloads are staggering in comparison to other conservative platforms. Rumble has averaged 10,600 downloads per day on Apple over the last month. Gettr grabbed 12,050 while Parler netted around 1,500 downloads per day, according to AppTopia data.

Could it be possible that one day, the current Big Tech social media companies will be knocked down a few pegs by TRUTH Social and their self-declared arch-nemesis, Donald Trump?
