Trump’s Campaign Prepares For Contested Election Come November

President Trump’s reelection campaign is preparing for the Democratic Party to contest the results of the November election should he be the winner, thus they are taking precautions that will limit voting irregularities.

A Trump campaign official said, “Republicans will be ready to make sure the polls are being run correctly, securely, and transparently as we work to deliver the free and fair election Americans deserve.”

A campaign coalition known as Lawyers for Trump, chaired by the attorneys general from both Arkansas and Texas, a former White House ethics attorney, and eight other current and former attorneys general have signed on to be advisers.

via The Washington Examiner:

“Democrats are working to shred election integrity measures one state at a time, and there’s no question they’ll continue their shenanigans from now to November and beyond,” Trump 2020 general counsel Matthew Morgan told the Washington Examiner in a statement. “The Trump campaign is fighting to ensure every valid ballot across America counts as we work to deliver the free and fair election Americans deserve. Republicans are preparing every day for the fight and will be ready on Election Day and after.”

Democrats, too, have raised concerns. “We are sounding an alarm and saying that this is a very real possibility, that the data is going to show on election night an incredible victory for Donald Trump,” Hawkfish CEO Josh Mendelsohn told Axios, pointing to what he called a “red mirage,” where the outcome on Election Day differs from the full vote count.

“They’re already mobilizing,” said one former White House official of the Democrats. “They already have the mobilization in place. Now, all they need to do is intensify it. And they will be able to intensify it on the basis of the claim of some kind of electoral fraud scenario that they move into the court. It is going to be a coordinated effort. There’s going to be pending court action, but that will happen in conjunction with massive demonstrations and a full-court press in sympathetic media outlets.”

The same individual went on to say, “I think Trump should call on his people to flood the Capitol and to make their presence known well, physically. Get all the truckers, get all the motorcycle people, get everyone there, and make their presence felt.”

Unless Trump manages to pull off a landslide victory, which is absolutely possible right now, the chances of Biden contesting the election are extremely high. The left will likely use chaos and mass protests to fuel more civil unrest and possibly attempt to pressure people with threats of violence in the streets to make sure the former vice president is named president.

This is why in-person voting is so critical. In-person voting will reduce the amount of voter fraud and prevent tampering with results, something a lot of conservatives fear will happen if we go to mail-in ballots.
