Trump Says Democrats And Mail-In Voting Is Holding Up COVID-19 Stimulus Package

According to President Trump, who recently conducted an interview with Fox Business host Maria Bartiromo, the reason for the delay in negotiations concerning the fourth coronavirus stimulus relief package is all due to the Democrats and their push for mail-in voting as part of the “wish list” items they want included in the deal.

“It’s their fault,” Trump stated during the interview. “They want $3.5 billion for something that’s fraudulent … for the mail-in votes, universal mail-in ballots. They want $25 billion for the post office. They need that money so it can work and they can take these millions and millions of ballots.”

The president went on to say that mail-in voting would result in “the greatest fraud in history.”

Here’s more from Fox News:

The president went on to slam the practice, saying that ballots have been “sent to dogs” and “dead people,” citing states like Virginia, where he said more than “500,000 phony ballot applications were sent to voters,” and in New York, where mail-in voting caused a weekslong delay in announcing results for some races in the state’s primary.

“How would you like to have $3.5 billion for mail-in voting? You know how much money that is? They want $25 billion for the post office because the post office is going to have to go to town to get these ridiculous ballots in,” Trump said.

The president went on to say that “there is nothing wrong with getting out and voting” amid the coronavirus pandemic.

“They voted in World War I and in World War II,” Trump said. “They should have voter ID because Democrats scammed the system.”

This just goes to show you how dedicated the left is to politicizing the coronavirus pandemic. They aren’t nearly as concerned about people’s health as they claim to be. In fact, they seem to be more worried about how they can utilize this opportunity to shutdown Trump come November.

It’s always been the goal, the sole focus of the Democratic Party, from the very beginning when Trump announced his candidacy. They are single-minded and not willing to give up. And they certainly don’t care if it hurts the American people. Just as long as they get what they want, all losses are acceptable.
