Trump Flattens Biden Over Reports Of Son Hunter Introducing Him To Burisma Executive: ‘Totally Corrupt’

President Donald Trump ripped into Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden, calling him a “totally corrupt politician” after the New York Post published a story on Wednesday that alleged there was a direct connection between Hunter Biden’s shady business dealings in Ukraine and his dad, who was vice president at the time.

Trump spoke with Stuart Varney of Fox Business Thursday saying, “The whole thing is insane. Joe Biden is a corrupt politician. I’ve been saying it for a long time.”

Some new emails recently came to ligt that suggest the younger Biden introduced his vice president father to a top executive who worked for Burisma Holdings, a natural gas firm, back in 2015, less than one year before dear old dad put pressure on the Ukraine government to fire a prosecutor investigating the company.

The main email obtained by the Post is an April 2015 message that the newspaper said was sent to Hunter Biden by Vadym Pozharskyi, an adviser to Burisma’s board.

“Dear Hunter, thank you for inviting me to DC and giving an opportunity to meet your father and spent [sic] some time together. It’s realty [sic] an honor and pleasure,” the email reads.

It’s unclear whether Joe Biden met with the executive. The Biden campaign pushed back on the allegations in the report, saying that a review of the former vice president’s schedule from the time shows that no such meeting took place.

“Investigations by the press, during impeachment, and even by two Republican-led Senate committees whose work was decried as ‘not legitimate’ and political by a GOP colleague have all reached the same conclusion: that Joe Biden carried out official U.S. policy toward Ukraine and engaged in no wrongdoing,” Andrew Bates, spokesman for the Biden campaign, wrote in a statement. “Trump administration officials have attested to these facts under oath.”

“The New York Post never asked the Biden campaign about the critical elements of this story,” Bates went on. “They certainly never raised that Rudy Giuliani — whose discredited conspiracy theories and alliance with figures connected to Russian intelligence have been widely reported — claimed to have such materials.”

President Trump still maintained that Biden is corrupt.

“All you have to do is look at the son’s server. I can’t believe they found his laptop. It’s incredible,” the president told Varney.

Varney asked the president how he can be confident that this whole thing isn’t a set up.

Trump replied, “Oh, I don’t know what a setup is. Look, they have the guy’s laptop. Hey, Hunter was a disaster. Hunter didn’t have a job. Hunter got thrown out of the military — you know why he got thrown it — didn’t have a job, didn’t have anything. His father becomes VP, and then Hunter starts making millions and millions of dollars a year. And the father gets some of that too.”

It certainly isn’t looking good for Biden. He’s definitely a corrupt politician, that much shouldn’t even be up for debate. You can’t serve publicly for over four decades and not have been spoiled or tainted by the allure of power that is inherent in the political realm.

We’ll just have to wait and see if this information turns out to be true.
