Trump Delivers Response To Threat By Dems To Use Impeachment To Block SCOTUS Nominee: ‘If They Do That, We Win’

Democrats are absolutely scared stiff at the thought of President Donald Trump being able to push through another SCOTUS nominee to take over the seat left vacant by the passing of Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg.

They are so terrified, in fact, that they are willing to do whatever it takes to ensure Trump’s pick gets blocked. What strategy are they going to employ to make that happen? Impeachment.

President Trump responded to House Speaker Nancy Pelosi saying she’d uses that tactic by stating that doing so would result in a sure victory for him in November, and likely for other Republicans in other races across the country.

via Fox News:

“I heard if I [nominate], they’re going to impeach me,” Trump said Monday during an exclusive interview with “Fox & Friends.”

“So they’re impeaching me for doing what constitutionally I have to do,” he said. “If they do that, we win all elections.”

The president added that he thinks that if House Democrats move ahead with impeachment of any kind, his “numbers will go up.”

“I think we’ll win the entire election,” he said. “I think we’re going to win back the House, I think we’re going to win the House anyway.”

Pelosi made an appearance on ABC News’ “This Week” program where she suggested using impeachment to try and block the president’s appointment to the Supreme Court.

Trump is probably right on this. We are all sick and tired of seeing things like abortion continue to be legal in this country. We’re sick and tired of seeing religious liberty infringed upon and our Second Amendment rights trampled. The best way to stop this from continuing is to appoint a true conservative judge who will protect and preserve our rights as guaranteed in the Constitution.

The president is going to do his job and try to get this done. If the radical left tries to interfere with the process, they will be doing so at their own peril. In an election cycle that has seen the left fail so miserably, Democrats need to ask themselves if they can really afford to further push voters away.
