Trey Gowdy Explains How We Know That No Evidence of Collusion Has Been Uncovered

There is no doubt in anyone’s mind that the Democrats have given all they’ve got to finding any shred of evidence that the Trump campaign colluded with Russia to “hack” (or something) the 2016 election.

At first, it was understandable that the shocked and bitter Democrats had to findĀ someĀ reason why Hillary actually lost the election, but now, well over a year later and absolutely no solid evidence of collusion, it’s getting kind of pathetic.

But the Democrats and their friends in the media are keeping the dream alive, ever hopeful that the Mueller investigation has found the smoking gun.

Unfortunately for them, Trey Gowdy just explained how we can be rest assured nothing has been found: because the Democrats would have leaked it already. Particularly, Adam Schiff.

Town Hall reports:

Rep. Trey GowdyĀ saidĀ Sunday that after 18 months of congressional investigations into whether there was collusion between the Trump campaign and the Russian government, no evidence has turned up.

He knows this because as a member of the House Intelligence Committee and chairman of the Committee on House Oversight and Government Reform, Gowdy said he has likely seen more government documents related toĀ collusion than any other member of Congress.

The South Carolina Republican went on to say that proof of this is in the fact that California Rep. Adam Schiff, the top Democrat on the House Intelligence Committee, hasnā€™t leaked it.

ā€œI have not seen one scintilla of evidence that this president colluded, conspired, confederated with Russia, and neither has anyone else, or you may rest assured Adam Schiff would have leaked it,ā€ Gowdy said on ā€œFox News Sunday.ā€

ā€œThatā€™s why theyā€™ve moved off of collusion onto obstruction of justice, which is now their current preoccupation,ā€ he added.

This is a very good point! The Democrats are foaming at the bit to accuse Trump with something, and so far, they haven’t needed any actual evidence to accuse him of collusion, so how could they possibly contain themselves if they picked up wind that evidence had, in fact, been discovered?

It’s hard to believe anything they say about it at this point.
