Speaker Pelosi Says Biden Should Just Skip Presidential Debates

You know the Democratic Party has absolutely no faith in Joe Biden to coherently carry out a live presidential debate when even those in the higher ranks of the party, like Speaker Nancy Pelosi, are saying he should skip the events entirely.

Of course, Pelosi, who recently made a statement to that effect, is downplaying it all as though it’s because Trump is some sort of immoral ruffian with bad behavior in the previous debates last cycle as being the reason to cancel the debates.

Here’s the scoop from Washington Examiner:

“I don’t think there should be any debates,” the California Democrat told reporters.

Three presidential debates are scheduled between Sep. 29 and Oct. 22, and Biden has committed to participating, but a growing chorus of Democrats have suggested that he skip going head-to-head with Trump on the debate stage.

“I do not think that the president of the United States has comported himself in the way that has any association with truth,” Pelosi said. “Evidence, data, and facts. I wouldn’t legitimize a conversation with him, nor a debate in terms of the presidency of the United States.”

“So, I think that he’ll probably act in a way that is beneath the dignity of the presidency,” Pelosi said. “He does that every day, but I think it will also be little what the debates are supposed to be about. I don’t think that he should dignify that conversation with Donald Trump.”

Wild statements, right?

Does saying this sort of stuff do anything to quell the rumors that Joe Biden is mentally unstable or suffering from some form of dementia? Especially given the way he’s appeared to be completely out of it in so many of his previous interviews?

Nope. Not really.

We’re all well aware this isn’t the right guy for the job. The Democrats just don’t want the average American to be clued into that fact, which is exactly what will happen on a live debate stage.
