President Trump Smashes Drug Companies For Announcing Vaccine After Election Day

President Donald Trump went after pharmaceutical companies for spending money against his campaign for reelection and for waiting until after Election Day to announce there were successful coronavirus vaccines on the way.

During an event at the White House on Friday, Trump made his first public appearance in a week. Trump said that without him, the vaccines would have taken four years to be completed.

via Washington Examiner:

“You wouldn’t have a vaccine if it wasn’t for me,” he told reporters.

Trump also said he “forced” the Food and Drug Administration to move quickly.

He charged that drug manufacturer Pfizer and others chose not to evaluate their vaccine until after the election because of his efforts to lower drug prices.

“Big Pharma ran millions of dollars of negative advertisements against me during the campaign,” Trump said, before adding, “which I won, by the way.”

“Until now, Americans have been charged more than twice as much as other medically advanced countries,” the president said.

People are very eager to avoid giving President Trump any props for the accomplishments he has had in office, especially as it relates to the coronavirus pandemic.

Many seem to think the should’ve been able to stop the virus dead in its tracks as if he were Superman, totally forgetting that he did the best he could with what information he was given by China.

The whole world could’ve been protected from this had China given out proper data. If folks want to blame someone, the Chinese Communist Party is a good place to start.
