President Trump Goes Off On Chuck Todd, Demands NBC News Fire Him For ‘Fraud’

President Trump was none too happy with NBC News and Chuck Todd late Sunday evening, demanding the left-wing talking head be booted from his position after his program aired a clip of Attorney General Bill Barr that was cut short and deceptively edited to take a comment out of its full context.

This isn’t a tactic that’s going to surprise anyone. Journalists have long since stopped caring about their true function in society to keep people informed of the facts and have opted to become propaganda machines designed to help the Democratic Party take on Trump. If a comment doesn’t fit the narrative, they’ll make it fit the narrative.

In the clip Barr was discussing the Justice Department’s move to dismiss the case against Lt. General Michael Flynn.

Here’s more from The Washington Examiner:

“Sleepy Eyes Chuck Todd should be FIRED by ‘Concast’ (NBC) for this fraud. He knew exactly what he was doing. Public Airwaves = Fake News!” the president tweeted late Sunday night. He also tagged the Federal Communications Commission and its chairman, Ajit Pai.

On Sunday’s edition of Meet The Press, which Todd has hosted since 2014, the show aired a clip of Barr being asked in a CBS News interview about how history would remember the Justice Department moving to drop criminal charges against the president’s first national security adviser.

“Well, history is written by the winner. So it largely depends on who’s writing the history,” Barr said.

The video clip ended there, but there was actually more that Barr said after this comment that gives it a lot of context. Context the mainstream media clearly didn’t want you to hear.

“But I think a fair history would say that it was a good decision because it upheld the rule of law. It helped, it upheld the standards of the Department of Justice, and it undid what was an injustice,” Barr added.

Spokeswoman for the DOJ, Kerri Kupec, also slammed NBC for the edited clip, which got a response from Meet The Press.

You can tell right off the bat that this is an insincere apology. It’s like when a kid gets busted sneaking a cookie before dinner. He’s not sorry for eating the cookie. He’s sorry you got him. Same thing here.

The mainstream media has become a weapon in the hands of progressives. Once upon a time, journalism was about the facts. Reporters either kept their bias to themselves or at least admitted they were approaching a story from a certain perspective. Not any more. It’s all about the narrative. The narrative that is designed to push a leftist agenda.

Journalism, true journalism, is dead.
