Yeah, hi. Murican over here.
I know you sometimes say things that make sense, like pointing out the insane double-standards of feminism or defending free speech.
But as a Brit…you might not be the best authority on American gun ownership.
You see, Piers, once, your government tried to take American’s guns away, and it resulted in a little battle you may or may not have heard of, the Battle a Lexington and Concord.
What this battle sparked is what would become the Revolutionary War, which, you may not realize, is exactly why us Yanks across the pond don’t have the dear old Queen on our money and aren’t banning butter knives or free speech.
And as you may have noticed during your time living in the US, we’re actually doing quite well for ourselves.
So maybe you don’t need to be speculating about what would happen if we gave up our AR’s.
I know this is a crazy idea from an ignorant foreigner – but why don't you just TRY giving up some of your guns, to see what happens?
Start with the AR-15, which is now used in almost every mass shooting. Make it more difficult, not easier, for lunatics to murder. pic.twitter.com/m49n7s8f2U

Well, since you went ahead and did it anyway, let’s see what America has to say:

How's that knife ban doing? Has it eliminated violent crime in the UK yet, your gun ban didn't.

"It's important to note however that, according to FBI crime data cited this week by the Daily Caller, deaths by knives in the U.S. outnumber deaths by rifles by five to 1"

You could have stopped right before the hyphen, the rest is just proving your initial claim

S. T. F. U. We stopped being interested in your opinion in 1776.

So yeah, thanks for your input there buddy but we’ll keep our AR’s…and our freedom.
