Yeah, hi. Murican over here.

I know you sometimes say things that make sense, like pointing out the insane double-standards of feminism or defending free speech.

But as a Brit…you might not be the best authority on American gun ownership.

You see, Piers, once, your government tried to take American’s guns away, and it resulted in a little battle you may or may not have heard of, the Battle a Lexington and Concord.

What this battle sparked is what would become the Revolutionary War, which, you may not realize, is exactly why us Yanks across the pond don’t have the dear old Queen on our money and aren’t banning butter knives or free speech.

And as you may have noticed during your time living in the US, we’re actually doing quite well for ourselves.

So maybe you don’t need to be speculating about what would happen if we gave up our AR’s.
