Nancy Pelosi Wants Pence To Invoke 25th Amendment To Remove Trump From Office

Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi wants Vice President Mike Pence to invoke the 25th Amendment, which would remove President Donald Trump from office, installing Pence in his place until the end of his term, which is in two weeks.
Pelosi stated for this immediate action to be taken due to the violent riot that broke out after Trump delivered a speech to an anti-certification group in Washington, D.C. The group launched an assault on the U.S. Capitol building, where one woman was shot and killed by police.
“The president has committed an unspeakable assault on our nation and our people,” said Pelosi in a press conference. “I join the Senate Democratic leader in calling on the vice president to remove this president by immediately invoking the 25th Amendment.”
“If the vice president and cabinet do not act, the Congress may be prepared to move forward with impeachment,” she added.
In a separate press conference, Senator Lindsay Graham (R-SC) said the president’s actions Wednesday were “the problem, not the solution,” but also said that he didn’t believe invoking the 25th Amendment was “appropriate at this point,” reports USA Today. He also said he was looking for a peaceful transition to the Biden administration, and was hoping for the next 14 days to serve as a “reset.”
It really seems like the left is just chomping at the bit to remove Trump from office. They’re getting so antsy for it they can’t wait until January 20 when his actual term is up. They want him gone, baby, gone. Now. Not later. Right this second.
The left has been working hard for four years to have him booted from office. It’s not enough to have a victory declared by having the Senate, the House, and the White House. Nope. They need to humiliate Trump too.
What a crazy time in modern history.
