McConnell Plans To Attend Inauguration Day Church Service With Incoming President Joe Biden

Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell will be joining incoming President Joe Biden for a church service on Inauguration Day.

So this man is spending part of the last day of President Trump’s time in office sucking up to the new guy? That’s humiliating. This is proof that the Republican Party truly does not possess a spine.

via Washington Examiner:

In an act of bipartisanship before he becomes the Senate’s minority leader Wednesday afternoon, McConnell will join Biden for a service at St. Matthew’s in downtown Washington, D.C., an aide confirmed with the Washington Examiner.

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer, as well as House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy, will also attend, according to Punchbowl News.

McConnell will lose the power to control the Senate’s floor time after Vice President-elect Kamala Harris takes her oath of office Wednesday at noon.

After this, Vice President-elect Harris will swear in three new Democratic senators including Jon Ossoff, Raphael Warnock, and Alex Padilla, who is replacing her in the Senate.

Folks, we have a lot of work to do over the next two years. We cannot allow Congress and the White House to be under the control of the Democratic Party, which is far more radical than it has ever been.

It’s time for the Republican Party to do some soul searching and figure out what values it truly believes in and wants to fight for and who is best to represent that system in public. We have to provide some real competition if we want a chance at winning in two years.
