McCarthy Says He’s ‘Had It’ With Cheney During Hot Mic Moment

House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy was allegedly caught blasting party conference chair Liz Cheney during a hot mic moment on “Fox & Friends,” as he chatted with host Steve Doocy.

“I think she’s got real problems,” McCarthy said to Fox & Friends host Steve Doocy off-air just a little while before his Tuesday morning interview, according to reports coming from Axios. “I’ve had it with … I’ve had it with her. You know, I’ve lost confidence. … Well, someone just has to bring a motion, but I assume that will probably take place.”

During the interview, the California Republican said members of his caucus are “concerned” about her ability to “carry out the message,” given her ongoing feud with former President Donald Trump.

“I have heard from members concerned about her ability to carry out the job as conference chair, to carry out the message,” McCarthy went on to say. “We all need to be working as one if we’re able to win the majority. Remember, majorities are not given, they are earned.”

Cheney has been on thin ice within the Republican caucus since she became one of the 10 House Republicans who voted to impeach Trump a second time for his role in the Capitol riot.

“This is about whether the Republican Party is going to perpetuate lies about the 2020 election and attempt to whitewash what happened on Jan. 6. Liz will not do that,” Jeremy Adler, a Cheney spokesman, told the Washington Examiner in response to McCarthy’s interview. “That is the issue.”

Well, McCarthy has proven that she’s nothing more than a RINO hack, so it’s not surprising that true conservatives are not happy with her and are sick and tired of dealing with her shenanigans.

Hopefully, the diehard conservatives will be able to oppose the establishment within the party and get rid of this woman before she does more damage to our country.
