Ilhan Omar Calls For ‘Radical’ Government Takeover Of Private Hospitals To Combat Coronavirus
Well, it’s official folks. Rep. Ilhan Omar, a woman notorious for anti-Semitic comments and for supporting Sen. Bernie Sanders for president, has gone way off her rocker and entered the realm of full blown communism.
Everyone these days is a little out of sorts over the coronavirus pandemic and for good reason. Lots of people are dying and being hospitalized because the illness is so terrible.
However, sometimes, the cure can be worse than the disease. Like Omar calling for the government to do a “radical” takeover of private hospitals to help fight the pandemic.
Probably the worst idea in the long history of bad ideas concocted by the human imagination.
Here’s more on this from Fox News:
U.S. Rep. Ilhan Omar on Tuesday night suggested what she admitted may be a “radical idea” to help fight the coronavirus outbreak.
“All private hospitals should be made public for the duration of the virus,” the Minnesota Democrat wrote on Twitter.
Here is maybe a radical idea to deal with some of the pressures our healthcare system is facing:
All private hospitals should be made public for the duration of the virus.

She said a government takeover could help address “some of the pressures our healthcare system is facing.”
Conveniently, Omar left out the details about how such an arrangement — the takeover of private property by the government — would actually work, but folks on Twitter were quick to call out the strategy for what it clearly is:

“So you can run them in to the ground?” another wrote.
“Spoken like a true Castroite,” a third commented.
Omar supports Bernie Sanders for president, a man who has gushed repeatedly about how awesome Cuban dictator Fidel Castro was and what wonderful work he did for his country — like killing folks and imprisoning anyone who dared to disagree with him — so maybe we shouldn’t be surprised by Omar’s insane ramblings.
Still, this is just not the right solution to the problem at hand. Let’s not sell our freedom down stream for a little security.
