Former President Trump Mulls Over Visiting Southern Border After Ripping Biden’s Handling Of Migrant Surge

Former President Donald Trump is thinking about paying a visit to the southern border as he continues to shred President Joe Biden on his poor handling of the surge of illegal immigrants flooding into the country.
Boy, you can bet such a visit would send all of the liberals out there into a complete meltdown.
The prospect of a border visit arose a day after President Joe Biden sought to blame his predecessor for the current crisis as thousands of migrants pour into the United States every day. Although Trump aide Jason Miller said no trip is “imminent,” controlling illegal immigration was Trump’s signature campaign issue in 2016 and the current situation could provide a powerful contrast between his administration and Biden’s.
“And so, not immediately, but I could see a trip at some point in the future here,” Miller told the Washington Examiner on Friday. “But it is something that President Trump is really concerned about.”
The 45th president on Thursday night criticized Biden for comments he made earlier in the day about the migration surge, saying immigrants are flocking to the southern boundary because he is a “nice guy.” The implication was clear: They feared Trump during his term because they saw him as the opposite.
“By the time we finished what we were doing [at the border], very few people were coming up because they knew they weren’t going to get through. We stopped ‘catch and release’ — which was a disaster,” Trump said during an interview with Fox News.
“The very biggest thing was, we had the ‘Remain In Mexico’ policy, and that means that we wouldn’t allow people to wait in our country until they were totally checked out, which most of them didn’t get checked out, and they would go back to their own country,” Trump went on to say.
“If young kids were with parents, but a lot of times, they weren’t, and we would take care of them, but … what they are doing now is outrageous. And they should finish the wall,” Trump continued.
Again, can you imagine how angry liberals, especially Democrats in political office — including the president — would be at the audacity of Trump to visit the southern border during an immigration crisis?
Which is exactly why he should do it!
