Fauci Finally Admits Wearing A Mask After Being Fully Vaccinated Was About The Optics; ‘Didn’t Want To Look Like I Was Giving Mixed Signals’

Dr. Anthony Fauci, the man known as the notorious “Dr. Doom,” has finally come out and admitted that his wearing of a mask despite being fully vaccinated was indeed all about the optics, or “theater” as Sen. Rand Paul put it.

“I didn’t want to look like I was giving mixed signals. But being a fully vaccinated person, the chances of my getting infected, in an indoor setting, is extremely low,” Fauci stated while giving an interview on ABC Tuesday. “And that’s the reason why in indoor settings now, I feel comfortable about not wearing a mask, because I’m fully vaccinated.”

Fauci’s confession is a contradiction to the testimony he delivered not that long ago which transformed into a rather heated back-and-forth with Sen. Rand Paul, where he swore up and down he was not wearing a mask for “theater,” but because it was necessary to help protect people from COVID.

Well, that was obviously a lie. What else is Fauci fibbing about?

via Washington Examiner:

“If we’re not spreading the infection, isn’t it just theater?” the Kentucky Republican said to Fauci during a Senate hearing. “If you’ve had the vaccine and you’re wearing two masks, isn’t that theater?”

“No, it’s not — here we go again with the theater,” Fauci responded.

“The other thing is, that when you talk about reinfection, and you don’t keep in the concept of variants, that’s an entirely different ballgame. That’s a good reason for a mask,” Fauci added.

Paul wasn’t buying into Fauci’s explanation and once again accused him of wearing the mask “for show.”

“You’ve been vaccinated, and you parade around in two masks for show,” Paul stated.

“Let me just state for the record that masks are not theater. Masks are protective,” Fauci replied.
