FAKE NEWS: Sarah Huckabee Sanders Responds to Reports She’s Leaving the White House

Don’t mess with Sarah, dude!

Late Wednesday night, CBS breathlessly reported that White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders would be leaving her position by the end of the year along with her deputy press secretary, Raj Shah:

Two of the most visible members of the Trump administration are planning their departures, the latest sign of upheaval in a White House marked by turmoil.

Press secretary Sarah Sanders and principal deputy press secretary Raj Shah are both heading for the exits, according to sources inside the White House and close to the administration. Sanders, who has become a confidante of President Trump since the departure of former communications director Hope Hicks, has told friends that she plans to leave the administration at the end of the year.

Sanders, who CBS says they repeatedly tried to contact for comment, responded via Twitter to the story, apparently tickled by their predictions of her career:

Does @CBSNews know something I don’t about my plans and my future? I was at my daughter’s year-end Kindergarten event and they ran a story about my “plans to leave the WH” without even talking to me. I love my job and am honored to work for @POTUS

Of course, the press would LOVE for Sanders to depart, as no one has done a better job hitting back at the relentless fake news narrative than she has.

She’s well-loved by the American public and is quickly turning into one of the best female role models of our generation as she graciously, and firmly, defends the President and his agenda against a historically unfriendly press each and every day.

Her response is classic Huckabee Sanders, teasing CBS for their plainly biased predictions while assuring the public she loves her job and loves working for our Commander-in-Chief.

We’re glad to hear you’ll be sticking around, Sarah!
