Ever Wonder What Nancy Pelosi Dreams About? Apparently Seeing Trump In Prison

Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi has been on the bandwagon to impeach President Trump for quite some time now, but apparently getting him booted out of office isn’t the ultimate hope and dream she’s clinging to these days.

No, that’s not good enough. Pelosi wants to see Trump tossed in the clink.

Now, why would she go and say something ludicrous like that? Well, as it turns out, folks in California, her native neck of the woods, don’t think she’s gung-ho enough about impeachment, so she thought she’d up the ante to appease the people.

But this week, Pelosi reportedly went full Woke® in a private Capitol Hill exchange with House Judiciary Chairman Rep. Jerrold Nadler (D-NY). Specifically, as Politico reports, Pelosi actually called not for Trump’s impeachment, but for his imprisonment:

Speaker Nancy Pelosi told senior Democrats that she’d like to see President Donald Trump “in prison” as she clashed with House Judiciary Chairman Jerry Nadler in a meeting on Tuesday night over whether to launch impeachment proceedings. …

“I don’t want to see him impeached, I want to see him in prison,” Pelosi said, according to multiple Democratic sources familiar with the meeting. Instead of impeachment, Pelosi still prefers to see Trump defeated at the ballot box and then prosecuted for his alleged crimes, according to the sources.

They said she was expressing solidarity with pro-impeachment Democrats who want to hold the president accountable while disputing the idea that it is now time to take that step.

Doesn’t this “leak” seem awfully conveniently timed? Gee, it almost seems as if it were planned this way to help bolster her numbers with the good folk of California, doesn’t it?

Now, we don’t know that’s for sure what happened. At this point, it’s just conjecture and speculation, but it does seem convenient such a statement gets leaked out right when she’s struggling with constituents back home.

This is how obnoxious the left has become this day and age, and how weak-willed politicians are. Nothing is ever good enough for social justice warriors, so they keeping pushing and pushing, and with politicians having no spine, they just keep giving in and giving in.

Regardless, Trump isn’t likely to be impeached, nor will he end up in prison. Heck, if Hillary can avoid an orange jumpsuit after all the lawbreaking she’s done, Trump ought to have no problem staying out the old birdcage.
