As Ukraine Continues To Burn, VP Harris Tweets About LGBTQ Issues. Gets Mocked Immediately.

As Russia continues to invade the Ukraine, Russian President Vladimir Putin has been busy raising his nuclear deterrent forces to be on high alert. Along with that, inflation is skyrocketing, and the Biden administration saw two million illegal immigrants get apprehended along the southern border over the course of 2021.

And yet, Vice President Kamala Harris is on Twitter pressing Congress to deal with LGBTQ issues. Kind of seems like something of lesser importance than working to prevent World War III, doesn’t it?

Harris ended up getting scorched for it too.

Harris posted on Twitter, “Let’s send the Equality Act to President Biden’s desk. We must increase protections for LGBTQ+ Americans across the country. The onslaught of state bills targeting transgender Americans and their families is wrong.”

Rep. Dan Crenshaw (R-TX) replied by saying, “America: inflation is screwing us, our border is lawless, and there’s a ground war in Europe. Kamala: we need to get men in women’s sports asap.”

Nile Gardiner, a former aide to iconic British Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher, tweeted, “Meanwhile Ukraine is burning and Putin’s army is rampaging across Europe. The Biden presidency is living in the Twilight Zone.”

Actor Derek Ray chimed in, “Every leader should be focusing solely on the potential triggering of article 5. There is a nuclear disaster unfolding in Europe. Hypersonic missiles do not discriminate. #Priorities.”

Former Miss Nevada Lisa Song Sutton commented succinctly, “What a luxury that we can be focused on pronouns during a time like this.”

“On Monday, at a White House celebration of Black History Month, Harris, speaking of President Biden’s nomination of Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson to replace Supreme Court Justice Stephen Breyer, who is retiring, insisted, ‘Because as we all know, elections matter. When folks vote they order what they want. And in this case, they got what they asked for,'” the report said.

Sen. Ted Cruz of Texas then fired off a tweet saying, “The American people didn’t ask for any of this: Record Inflation Record border crisis Closed schools A war on American energy Afghanistan disaster Russia invasion of Ukraine.”

North Dakota GOP Senator Kevin Cramer added a few words of his own stating, “Please tell me some talented impersonator dubbed audio over video of a funny thing she said.”

Harris was relentlessly mocked on Tuesday after she gave her own explanation of the war unfolding in the Ukraine after she was asked, “If you’re watching any level of news, even social media, you’re seen everything that’s going on right now in the Ukraine. Break it down in layman’s terms for people who don’t understand what’s going on and how can this directly affect the people the United States.”

“So Ukraine is a country in Europe,” Harris went on to say, in what appears to be a major flex concerning her vast knowledge of geography. “It exists next to another country called Russia. Russia is a bigger country. Russia is a powerful country. Russia decided to invade a smaller country called Ukraine. So, basically, that’s wrong.”

And we thought Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez had a relaxed brain.

Yikes.
